What Does C.C.E.P. Stand For?
Thomas R. Lamar, D.C., C.C.E.P.

If you are wondering what all the letters after Dr. Lamar’s name stand for, you are not alone. Many people correctly figure out that “D.C.” means Doctor of Chiropractic, but the “C.C.E.P.” is a stumper. The “C.C.E.P.” signifies that he holds postgraduate training as a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner.
So, not only does Dr. Lamar render chiropractic care to the spine, but he is an expert at adjusting the other joints of the body, such as the wrist, elbow, shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, jaw, and rib cage.
Since graduating from the 105-hour C.C.E.P. program in 2001, Dr. Lamar has been able to help a multitude of patients not only with acute injuries to the extremity joints, but also those with chronic, non-responsive spinal problems that have undetected extremity issues as complicating factors.
As a requirement of his C.C.E.P. designation, Dr. Lamar takes periodic continuing education related to extremity adjusting to keep his skills and knowledge in this area sharp.
